Draft for Danny to edit

I'm Danny, and I play off 15. For years my rounds went the same way. A decent start, then one hole where I took on a shot I had no business hitting, and the card was gone.

Tour players don't do that. They walk on to every course with a plan: where to aim, which club, where the safe miss is. Club golfers, the people who'd gain the most from a plan, mostly guess.

So I built Bag to Flag. It takes the clubs in your bag and the way you actually miss, simulates every shot on every hole, and tells you the club and target that save you the most shots. Then it comes round the course with you on your phone.

It's still early, and I'm building it with the golfers who use it. If something's wrong, or there's something you'd love it to do, email me at support@bagtoflag.com.

Where the data comes from

Course maps come from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence. Elevation and green slopes come from height data, including Environment Agency LIDAR in England (© Environment Agency copyright and database right 2026, Open Government Licence).

Ratings, slope and yardages come from course scorecards. Plans are simulations based on your distances and the typical shot spread for your handicap. They're a guide, not a guarantee.

Spot something wrong on your course? You can fix it in the course editor inside the app.
